You are in good hands
Christopher Oxner is a freelance Toronto based web and graphic designer with over a decade of experience helping businesses reach their customers with effective branding elements - bespoke websites, business cards and other visual identity materials.
Become web self-sufficient
Christopher specializes in Content Management Systems (CMS), which allow his clients to create, edit, and control their website content completely independently. There's nothing better than being self-sufficient and nothing more cost effective.
The SmartTrack.to project required a logo design that carried through some elements of earlier related branding materials while creating a new identity. The accompanying WordPress based website design serves as an information gateway for the City of Toronto's new subway extension plan. The emphasis was on clarity and ease of access to the vast amount of information and documents associated with the project. A simple interface was required to allow the City of Toronto Planning Department staff to edit and add content as the project develops.
This website design features a fully responsive framework and looks great on both desktop computer monitors and cell phone screens, as well as any size in between. Built around a WordPress framework, this site enables the client to edit and add content with just a few clicks. Notable features are a shrinking header enabling branding elements to ever present but not intrusive, and an on demand navigation menu that only appears when needed, preserving the pristine minimalism of this design. Extra large retina-ready slide shows and hero images, and extensive project galleries make this site a little slower to load than most but were a non-negotiable requirement. The prime directive was to dazzle visitors with large lush professional photo documentation of the client’s beautiful interior design work.
The minimalist design in this website project allows the lush imagry and high impact video to take center stage. This site is built on a WordPress framework making content edits and creation accessible to the end user.
